On this day a small Kansas town was chosen

Galena folks saw its first rendition

He let a select few in on the trick

And pulled it off without a hitch

 

At the Galena Opera house it is said

He messaged words from the dead

Spirits had thrown him into a trance

A mandolin played a slow dance
