The Informer was established in 2000 by Overton and two other Spring Hill

residents to provide community news to Spring Hill, Thompson's Station,

Neapolis, Columbia, Bethesda, Theta and Hampshire. The paper went online in

April 2013. Following Overton's death, the paper announced online it will cease

publication on April 30.
