Schermerhorn mansion in Galena, Kansas

Edgar B. Schermerhorn built this Queen Anne-style home in 1895. Designed by Galena architects Anderson & Strong, the 12-room home had six fireplaces and took two years to construct. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. Courtesy | Wikipedia Commons
