Martin home at 2209 Short Street is totally gone

Life and times in Galena, Kansas, and Joplin, Mo., with Bakersfield, Calif., Trona, Calif., and Nashville, Tenn., tossed in for good measure, and whatnot, which covers most all else on this planet and parts elsewhere, along with remnants of Georgia.

Bryce: Martin, a Spring Hill, Tenn., resident since 2002, is semi-retired and a former journalist in a career that included stints as staff reporter for four California daily newspapers and another in Oklahoma. In addition, he has contributed articles to several regional and national magazines.
